What it takes to outrank them

On every board, ranking above a spot costs one dollar more than it. When this snapshot was taken, the starting prices on these spots ran from $7 at #5 to $19 at #1 on each board, so outranking a #1 cost $20.

Prices move whenever someone pays, so the live boards and the join page always show the current figure before you pay.

A few things to know before you try:

• Your listing is yours. You get a private manage link to edit, top up, hide or remove it
• Being outbid isn't refunded. Anyone can pay one dollar more than your total
• Your rank isn't an award. It's paid placement, and your listing page says who paid
